Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President – Business Development to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build long-term partnerships for Strengths Masters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultative sales, leadership development, corporate training, and coaching solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business expansion while fostering deep relationships with corporate clients, HR leaders, and C-suite executives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on strengthening partnerships with corporates, institutions, and leadership teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate learning, leadership development, and coaching.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions aligned with client needs.

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Lead the end-to-end business development process, from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with CXOs, HR leaders, and decision-makers to position Strengths Masters as a preferred learning partner.
  • Drive revenue growth through consultative selling, proposal development, and contract negotiations.

Partnership & Market Expansion

  • Identify strategic alliances, channel partnerships, and collaborations to expand Strengths Masters’ reach.
  • Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and emerging opportunities in the leadership and coaching space.

Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning

  • Work closely with marketing teams to create compelling content, campaigns, and digital strategies to attract corporate clients.
  • Leverage personal and company branding (e.g., LinkedIn, industry panels) to establish Strengths Masters as a thought leader in Strengths-Based Coaching and Leadership Development.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the delivery and coaching teams to ensure seamless execution of programs.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performance sales and business development team.
  • Provide insights and feedback to enhance service offerings and innovation in leadership development solutions.

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 10-12 years of experience in B2B business development, consultative sales, or corporate partnerships within the L&D, HR consulting, leadership development, or coaching industry.
  • Strong track record in selling leadership programs, executive coaching, or strengths-based development solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence CXOs, HR heads, and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience in solution-based selling, proposal writing, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong network and industry connections in the corporate L&D/HR space.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent degree in Business, HR, or related fields.
  • Certification in Leadership Coaching, or other executive coaching methodologies is a plus.

We are expanding our presence in the Government and Public Sector and are looking for a strategic leader to drive partnerships, collaborations, and business growth in this space.

Role Overview

The Vice President – Business Development (Government Sector) will lead Strengths Masters’ efforts to establish and grow partnerships with government ministries, PSUs, skill development councils, and public sector institutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in government consulting, public sector engagements, and policy-driven learning initiatives.

This role requires expertise in government tendering, strategic alliances, policy advocacy, and relationship management with key stakeholders in the public sector.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Government Relations

  • Develop and execute a business strategy to engage with government bodies, PSUs, and skill development institutions.
  • Build strong relationships with ministries, government agencies, and public sector enterprises to position Strengths Masters as a trusted learning and leadership partner.
  • Identify and pursue government tenders, RFPs, and public-sector partnerships in leadership development, training, and coaching.
  • Drive policy discussions, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership in workforce and leadership development initiatives.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process for government contracts, from proposal creation to negotiation and execution.
  • Identify funding opportunities, grants, and CSR partnerships that align with Strengths Masters’ leadership development initiatives.
  • Leverage government schemes and skilling initiatives to create customized leadership and strengths-based training programs.

Partnership & Advocacy

  • Represent Strengths Masters in government forums, policy discussions, and industry events to build credibility and visibility.
  • Forge partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and public policy organizations to enhance Strengths Masters’ impact in government training programs.
  • Stay updated on policy changes, government initiatives, and reforms to align offerings with national development priorities.

Program Development & Execution

  • Work closely with internal teams to design customized leadership programs aligned with the needs of government institutions and PSUs.
  • Ensure seamless execution and compliance with government procurement guidelines and policies.
  • Provide strategic insights to enhance Strengths Masters’ engagement with public sector leadership, capacity building, and governance training.

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 10-12 years of experience in business development, public sector engagement, or government consulting in L&D, HR consulting, or leadership development.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tendering, and public-sector sales cycles.
  • Established relationships with government officials, ministries, and PSUs.
  • Experience in proposal writing, grant applications, and RFP responses for government projects.
  • Proven ability to drive policy discussions, public-private partnerships, and strategic alliances.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of government skilling initiatives, leadership development programs, and national capacity-building frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MPA (Master of Public Administration), or equivalent degree in Business, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • Experience working with NITI Aayog, NSDC, government skill councils, or similar institutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with leadership and coaching frameworks  is an advantage.
